On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November, some one hundred service providers will be presenting their services at the3rd edition of the Festival du mariage.
Are you getting married in 2025, 2026 or even 2027? Would you like to relive the magic of your past wedding? Then the Molière theater at the Puy du Fou will be your domain for the weekend. On the occasion of the3rd edition of this magical and warm Festival, I give you 3 (good) reasons to go there. Let’s get started!

Forget kitsch, partitions and vendors staring at each other. At the Puy du Fou Wedding Festival, suppliers are willing to play the game of an open, friendly Festival, where exchange and sharing are the watchwords.
“We created this festival three years ago because we realized that almost all the Wedding Festivals in France were built on the partition model, which effectively puts a barrier between suppliers,” explains François Piraux, manager of the boutique Les Noces de Swan in Aytré and co-creator of the Festival with his brother Denys. We, on the other hand, have always believed that there should be no competition between suppliers. As a result, we offer open venues where future brides, grooms and visitors can go to the suppliers they like. It’s up to them to go the extra mile to create a beautiful setting.
In terms of entertainment, the Puy du Fou Wedding Festival is not to be outdone. In addition to the various exhibitors’ stands and demonstrations, you won’t want to miss one of the three parades scheduled each day. Unlike last year, when some exhibitors had their own stand, this year the auditorium is entirely dedicated to the designer shows, leaving more space to enjoy the show. The catwalk is a veritable spectacle, with professional models showcasing the dresses, suits, hats, shoes and accessories of the various houses on display.

In recent years, I’ve often walked the aisles of Western Wedding Festivals. And it never would have occurred to me to become an exhibitor. But meeting François Piraux changed everything. Manager of the L’Atelier des Noces boutique in Aytré near La Rochelle, this professional not only made me feel very welcome the first time I pushed open the door to his store, but also taught me a lot about the French wedding environment and ecosystem.
But more than that, it’s a passion for weddings and the satisfaction of brides and grooms that drives the two brothers, who own three boutiques in the west of France (Challans, La Roche-sur-Yon and La Rochelle-Aytré). So it was only logical that they should create a Festival in their own image, capable of satisfying brides and grooms as they do every day in their boutiques.
